Krishanthi’s love of baking was evident from an early age with many years spent watching her mother skillfully craft exquisite cakes for family celebrations. During her university years in Germany, Krishanthi experimented with Continental baking learning the culinary traditions of Austrian and German bakers before returning to the UK.
Following a career in investment banking, Krishanthi became a mother and spent several years learning the art of sugar craft before making the decision to put her inherited artistic talent to professional use with the launch of the cake business. Cakes by Krishanthi provides beautiful cakes and sweet treats for all occasions including weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, baby showers and christenings.
Krishanthi has earned a reputation for excellence in cake design and is highly regarded among clients, industry suppliers and the media.
